We still have space on Friday 19th at 11am or you can make your kite at home following these instructions and join the Fly with Me kite-flying event from 1pm.

Take part in an Afghan kite-making workshop to find out about this beautiful tradition and make your own kite to fly at the Fly With Me Kite Flying event at 1pm on 20th August.

All ages welcome - children should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The workshop will take place at the Hive (click here for a map). Spaces are limited - book below.

The Fly with Me kite flying event is being run in partnership with Good Chance Theatre in solidarity with the Afghan people. More information here.

If you would like to take part but are unable to come to the workshop, you can find kite-making instructions on the Good Chance Theatre website to make your own kite with simple materials and bring it along to take part in the event on Kite Hill from 1pm on 20th August.
