Community activities and outings

We support people and groups of all types to get involved in Hampstead Heath and our nearby green spaces like Kenwood Estate and Golders Hill Park. We engage with each and every group to offer differing levels of support and can offer:

  • support with planning and organising community events and activities on our green spaces

  • chaperoning and support for individuals with additional needs to enable them to access our activities

  • free use of equipment, furniture, games, gazebos, sports equipment etc

  • leadership from experienced staff and volunteers to help deliver activities

  • resources, maps, guidebooks and learning materials

  • use of indoor meeting spaces, outdoor gardens and storage facilities

  • the opportunity for joint fundraising possibilities

Outdoor activities

Get in touch if you would like support to bring your group members to Hampstead Heath, the Kenwood Estate, Golders Hill Park, Keats House or Highgate Wood.

We can run different outdoor activities, help you access our sports facilities, take you on a guided walk, or simply provide you with a safe space or equipment, including picnic rugs or chairs, or access to toilets and a kitchen.

Visiting your group

If you are unable to visit our green spaces we can bring them to you! We regularly visit local groups , community events and festivals to bring our wildlife and knowledge about nature to a wider audience.

We can present to groups, bring wildlife specimens, run nature craft workshops or simply meet and share stories from the Heath.
